TERMS AND CONDITIONS & DECLARATION

This Membership application is subject to the approval of the Guild's Executive Committee.

The Guild reserves the right to render this application null and void at the sole and absolute discretion of the Executive Committee if there are any omissions or inaccuracies in the particulars of the applicant.

All membership payments including Entrance Fee and monthly Subscription Fee, are not refundable unless otherwise stated.

All Welcome Gift or Vouchers delivered and/or received are non-exchangeable to another Gift or Cash.

Student Membership application is only open to Students who are studying in Singapore Polytechnic under the Full-Time Diploma, Part-Time Diploma or Post-Diploma course. The Student Membership will be automatically converted into an Ordinary Membership upon graduation. The Student Membership shall cease if he/she is no longer enrolled as a Student of Singapore Polytechnic (Article 13 of the Constitution).

Ordinary Membership is transferable and has voting rights.

Associate and Corporate Membership is transferable and has no voting rights.

Term Membership is non-transferable and has no voting rights.

Upon being accepted as a Member, the applicant understands and undertakes to abide by all the provisions stipulated in the Constitution and also the Rules & Regulations of the Guild. This also applies to the Spouse and Junior Member(s) of the applicant according to their Membership type.

As an applicant, where applicable, with or without Family Privileges; I shall undertake to be fully responsible for all expenses, charges, liabilities, acts, wrong-doing, behaviours of my Guest(s), Spouse Member and their Guest(s), Junior Member and their Guest(s).

As a Member of the Guild, I “may resign from the Guild by giving to the Secretary at least one (1) month’s notice in writing to that effect, provided that any Member giving such notice shall be liable to pay his monthly Subscription Fee and all other debts, owing and unpaid up to the date of resignation.” (Article 25 of the Constitution).
