“Why did you jump?”
Albert never imagined this question could be answered. His best friend Erwin had everything — valedictorian, national youth gymnast, a loving girlfriend. But one day, Erwin jumped… and left no answers behind.
That is, until Albert finds himself inside Erwin’s final dream — chasing shadows, reliving moments, and confronting a truth he may not be ready to face.
Third Man Syndrome, written by Terrance Tan and directed by Ian Loy, is a bold and intimate new work that delves into the silence surrounding suicide. Through surreal dreamscapes and emotional honesty, it explores grief, guilt, and the haunting weight of unanswered questions.
Each performance will be followed by a post-show discussion led by Samaritans of Singapore (SOS), providing space to reflect on themes of mental wellness and suicide prevention. Audiences will leave with deeper insight, practical tools, and perhaps, a little more courage to start their own conversations.
