IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. Statement of Account (Members / Tenant)

Please examine this statement immediately upon receipt. If no discrepancy is reported within 14 days after posting, dispatch or delivery, this statement will be considered as accurate.

2. Mode of Settlement (Members / Tenant)

I.   By GIRO

​GIRO is the most convenient way to pay your dues. The GIRO application form is available at the Guild's Reception Counter. ​We can also mail the GIRO application ​form to your mailing address upon request. As the bank requires the form with your original signature, please send the form back to SPGG or submit it to our ​reception counter.

II.   By PayNow

Members/ Tenant can make payment via PayNow to our UEN: S71SS0002L (Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild).

Please indicate your membership number or Invoice number as the UEN/Bill Reference for our verification.

​III.  By VISA/MASTER Credit Card

Members/ Tenant who wish to pay through Credit Cards may request for the Credit Card Authorisation Form at the Guild's Reception Counter.

IV.  By AXS Stations/AXS e-Station/AXS m-Station

Only Members can make payments for their membership fees via AXS Stations, AXS e-Station (Web-Based) or AXS m-station (Mobile App).Please note that there is a minimum transaction sum of $10.00. (Select: Bills+ Membership+ Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild)

V.  By Cheque

Payment made by cheque should reach the Guild by the due date as stated overleaf. All cheque should be crossed and made payable to "SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC GRADUATES' GUILD". Please write your name and membership number or Invoice number on the reverse side of your cheque, together with the payment slip and mail to Singapore Polytechnic Graduates' Guild, 1010 Dover Road, Singapore 139658.


3. Late
I No Payment

Please settle your dues promptly. If full or partial is received after the due date, a late payment charge of 5% per month or $10.00 (whichever is higher) per statement per month will be imposed on your account.


4. F&B Minimum Spending Levy (MSL)

With effect from 1st November 2004, the Guild has implemented its F&B MSL. This is applicable to all categories of Membership with the exception of Social and Student Memberships. As for the Fresh Graduate's Membership Schemes, the F&B MSL will only commence when they revert to paying prevailing Subscription Fee. Your F&B MSL is confine to the following areas of Spending, The Restaurant, The Coffee Hub, Banquet Booking, Oasis Hideout and Lounge. Please note that Birthday Vouchers are not part of the F&B MSL.


5. Goods & Services Tax (GST) (Member and Tenant)

GST is calculated based on the prevailing rate set by the Government.


6. Members' Accounts (the Constitution, Article 37)

"Should a Member not settle the amounts due and payable by him to the Guild within three (3) months from the date of the Statement of Account showing such amounts to be due and payable (the "Outstanding Amounts"), the Treasurer shall give a notice to the defaulting Member notifying him that if his Outstanding Amounts is not fully paid within fourteen (14) days from the date of the notice, the Committee may suspend his privileges as a Member or delete the Member's name from the Register of Members and he shall thereupon cease to be a Member but without prejudice to the rights of the Guild to recover all monies due, owning or payable to the Guild" (Clause 3).


7. Members Abroad (the Constitution, Article 20)

"The Guild shall keep an Absent Register for Members who intend to leave Singapore temporarily for a period exceeding six (6) months" (Clause 1). "On approval, the Member shall not be required to pay any Subscription whilst his name is on the Absent Register. The Spouse and children of the Member shall not be entitled to make use of the facilities of the Guild whilst the member is placed on the Absent Register" (Clause 4). "If the Member shall not be in Singapore for a continuous period exceeding three (3) years, the Committee may delete the Member's name from the Absent Register unless written notice is given to the Secretary stating the Member's intention to remain on the Absent Register ... " (Clause 6).


8. Resignation (the Constitution, Article 25)

"Any Member may resign from the Guild by giving to the Secretary at least one (1) month's notice in writing to that effect, provided that any Member giving such notice shall be liable to pay his Subscription and all other debt due, owing and unpaid up to the date of resignation:'
