We all want a good life, but our ideas on what makes us happy (well-being) tends to change from when we start working to when we retire.
This talk looks at these changes that shapes/influences our well-being.
Drawing lessons from the 86-year Harvard Study on Adult Development, Western writers like Charles Dickens, Robert Frost, and Carl Sandburg, and Eastern thinkers like Lao Zi and Confucius, their ideas offer valuable insights on how to thrive and age well.

Dr Vincent Chong is a retired professor of radiology at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He was awarded scholarships to study business (MBA, NUS) and education (Master in Education, Maastricht University, the Netherlands.) Currently, he is the editor of the website agewelleveryday.org.
