All of us want a good life.
However, our ideas on what makes us happy (well-being) when we start working and when we retire are different.
This talk explores the changes. It draws on the ongoing 86-year-long Harvard Study on Adult Development, the observations of Western literary figures (Charles Dickens, Robert Frost, Carl Sandberg), and the insights of Eastern philosophers (Lao Zi and Confucius). The insights we draw from them can help us grow (thrive) and age well.
